Hello, dear readers.

I want to start this devlog by apologising for going off the grid for around two months with no explanation. In my previous post I said that the next updates will come whenever the time is right, and I really meant it. What I didn't know is what that would actually mean.

You see, if you have been here since the beginning, you would have seen how many breaks I took from the VN, for personal reasons or for reworking reasons, and I'll be honest, many times I wanted to just... drop this project.

Writing it started to become bothersome, I never felt satisfied with how some sprites looked and how some chapters turned out, the story made no sense too many times, and reading over all I've done so far genuinely makes me feel... disappointment. I could have made these chapters so much better if only I would have just thought things out and I would not have rushed updates just for the sake of it.

Making a VN isn't some easy thing as I thought it was before I started, and it took me around two years to realise just how much my writing style and expectations would change.

So now I'm being honest with you. 

I do NOT want to abandon this.
Even if there's not thousands of readers, there are still some that actually care for this story. And honestly, I do too. These characters and this plot was the first big project I have ever made, and I'm proud of many things from it. But many things really need polishing and changing.

This devlog is my message to each of you, individually, apologising for all the hiatuses, empty promises and poor-quality chapters. And now I chose, for the better of the visual novel, to fully step back.

I will focus on reworking most of the vn, at least up to the point where we get to winter. I'm not satisfied with how the plot is at the start, and from my eyes... it's not engaging enough. So I will focus now SOLELY on remaking many, many parts of this visual novel, in hope to provide you with what this project could be and SHOULD be.

Know that not all will be changed, like characters and main plot lines. All I will do is bend them in a way that will make them better.

I don't know how long I'll be gone for, and I'm sorry again, but it's needed. (The visual novel will still be up, and I'll still reply to any messages or posts you'd make.)
